Tatiana Lee-Chee, DO, graduated from Florida International University in 1992 with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biology. She continued her education at Nova Southeastern, School of Medicine, earning her medical degree in 1996. Dr. Lee-Chee completed her Residency in Ophthalmology at Tulane University Medical Center, School of Medicine, and subsequently completed two additional fellowships at Tulane. Her Anterior Segment Research Fellowship allowed her to be involved in FDA trials for all the commonly known Ophthalmic drugs used for Glaucoma and Retinal disease. During her Corneal and Refractive Fellowship, she performed hundreds of Cornea transplants. She trained in Refractive Surgery (Laser Vision Correction) by some of the most renowned physicians in the world.

Tatiana Lee-Chee, MD, is one of the first female Ophthalmologists in South Florida to perform Laser Cataract Surgery. She has been recognized by her peers in “Top Doctors” in South Florida, as well as awarded “Most Compassionate Physician”.

Dr. Lee-Chee is Board Certified by The American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology. She founded Advanced Eye Care of South Florida since 2004. She also performs surgeries at multiple institutions in South Florida.

She served on the Executive Board of Eye Physicians of Florida for over 5 years. Dr. Lee-Chee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
